Prices seem more like NYC than the Triangle, eg pork shoulder even if locally sourced for $34 seems high, esp when bread is extra ($5, $1 a slice. Good though). A $12 green salad was tasty, my $24 vegetarian tortelloni was very good, my companions pasta with fish was so so. Great warm potted chocolate, delicious. With split salad, only 1 glass of the least expensive red, for one of us, 2 pasta dishes, bread, and a shared dessert, $112. Another factor that makes us hesitant to return was the noise, it was nice the place was full but at our table for two we really had to yell to hear each other.
I will say the Hillsborough restaurant scene on an early fall night was fabulous, a,real restaurant row with 4 or 5 places with sidewalk diners (not Panciuto) felt very cosmopolitan.November 30, 2016
