  My family and I usually go to Banditos in Hillsborough 1-2 times a week. We ALWAYS leave AT LEAST %30 tip. We love the frozen margaritas. Tonight we went to eat dinner at Banditos in Hillsborough. At the end our of our meal a cook in the back was antigonizing a friend in our party when we were waiting in line to pay. After putting up with it for a minute or two she said something to him and then left the restaurant. When the rest of our party was checking out the manager accused our party of causing the interaction between her employee and my friend. The manager then tried to snatch my friends card out of their hand when she thought we weren't going to pay. She also locked us in the restaurant. We did nothing wrong so we opened the door she tried to push us out of the way. After that she got her employee who could speak English to call the cops. The employee told the cops that there was a physical altercation happening inside and outside the restrurant. The cops came barging inside the restaurant to find no fighting at all. A employee started the whole "altercation" then the problem was escalated because of the manger falsely accused the customer. Needless to say my family will NOT be going back to Banditos located in Hillsborough NC. We will not support a business that does not keep their employees held accountable for their actions. We will not support a business that automatically acusses their customers of being in the wrong. Oh and they no longer have their frozen margarita machine so there's really no reason to go there anyways! We will be going to IXTAPA right down the road from Banditos from now on!!!!

  Shame on me for going here for a late lunch. I didn't pay attention to the 2:30 close time for lunch. My question is, why did the bartender suggest a second glass of wine at near close when he saw how long it took me to drink the first one? Then all of the sudden, they wanted me to pay. I was in shock and asked why and the manager told be because they closed at 2:30. They tried to take my food away without giving me the option of a box. I felt rushed and wished I had dined somewhere else. I'll never go back. The food wasn't awful, it was mediocre, but why would I go back for mediocre food and terrible service????

  It used to be good. Now it serves a kind of gravy cheese sauce. The meat was like beef jerky. So disappointed that it went downhill.
